DTOL announces a new version of the popular Dance School
Administrator software.
Version 2.1 adds a simplified exam selection facility, the ability to
select fonts for various print outputs, remarks fields for students,
parents and classes and a number of other enhancements.
For those not familiar with Dance School Administrator, this software is
a low-cost solution for dance schools, enabling them to:
* store details on current, past and waiting list students
* show, on the screen, all the students in a class
* print class lists
* print class numbers list
* print a 'birthday list': all students in birthday order, month by
month
* print a full contact list for students
* print lists of students' telephone contacts
* print labels for parent/student addresses
* print class timetables for each studio/venue
* print class timetables for each teacher
* print class registers
* create a mail merge file
* print invoices onto headed or plain paper, formatted for window
envelopes
* apply discounts for students who take more than one class, and for
parents who have more than one current student
* allow invoice calculation based on EITHER a Term Fee for each class OR
a Weekly Class Fee multiplied by the number of weeks in the invoicing
period
* show, on the screen, lists of invoices with a balance owing
* allow full or part payment of invoices
* allow an invoice to be Cancelled when a student decides not to
continue with any of the classes
* allow an invoice to be marked as Complete when a student decides not
to continue with some of the classes and has paid for those (s)he is
taking
* print lists of invoices with a balance owing
* add amounts overdue to new invoices
* allow you to include items to adjust the invoice amount, e.g. for
dancewear sales or giving a student teacher a discount
* print details of all invoices, to present to your accountant
* allow invoicing in any currency
* store PINs for five pre-selected exam bodies (RAD, ISTD, IDTA, BATD
and UKA) and three user-specified exam bodies
* store ethnicity codes and special needs indication
