Small established dance school for sale and located in the heart of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The school currently has 82 students, age 3-18, of which approximately 50% take more than one class a week. The school currently offers classes in Street Dance, Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance and the current time table runs classes on a Monday and Thursday evening and all day on Saturday.

All the classes are currently run by myself, the founder and principal of the school, and I am selling since I am recently engaged to be married and shall be emigrating to Australia with my husband to be.

The School runs all its dance classes from the Guild Hall which is located in the centre of town. This is a council run property that I rent annually but there is no charge for hiring the hall when it is not in use during the school holidays. As a dance school that provides a community service we get charged the council’s community rates which are very affordable. We have also established a very close relationship with the halls staff at the Guild Hall, whom are very fond of our work within the community and will undoubtedly continue to support the new owner.

The hall's staff manage the Guild Hall and Reggie Goves Centre which has two additional halls suitable for dance classes should you wish to open further classes as the school develops further. These halls are within walking distance of the Guild Hall and are also council property. All three halls are kept clean and tidy by the halls staff and meet all health and safety requirements. The halls staff open and close the halls and someone is always on site during working hours should you require their assistance. As the hirer of the hall (principal/teacher) you get free parking outside the halls staff offices near the Guild Hall. All students, however, must use the car parking facilities in the town centre. The Wycombe Swan car park is just around the corner from the Guild Hall and there are many drop off and pick up spaces for parents outside the hall.

I currently teach the Cecchetti ballet syllabus; however, students have informed me that they would be very happy to switch to an alternative Ballet syllabus (RAD, ISTD) should the new teacher wish to do so. Additionally, many of the current students are very keen to start ISTD Modern and Tap classes and there is also a huge demand for Ballroom dance classes and adult dance courses.

The dance school has its own website, created by my fiancé who is a Professional software developer. Our sale price includes free web consultation and assistance in re-inventing the website to meet the needs of the new owners of the dance school.

The School also comes equipped with 5 portable ballet Barres and 10 yoga mats.

In order to ensure a smooth changeover of owners I am very happy to assist the new teacher take over the current classes should they wish.
